D'arcy,
When I started patrolling on Whistler, you were always so open with your mountain knowledge, and always willing to help. I have very clear memories of riding in your cat to get somewhere to do avalanche control. It was be a total whiteout, blowing 100+ and snowing sideways. Snow coming over the blade, and me with no idea where the hell we were, but feeling totally safe because you were so chill and so skilled. Even though we were in different departments you were a mentor to me. You showed me how to be calm and under control in the mountains, how to treat other people in stressful situations. Your voice on the radio became part of my daily routine, as much a part of Whistler Mountain as the Peak or the Dave Murray. The phrase "real bad boys move in silence" describes you to a T. So accomplished, so skilled, but never talking about where you've been or what you've done. I'm sending you all the love in the world D'arcy. Thank you for everything you've done for me D'arcy. I love you.
