When I think of a special memory of D'Arcy, as obscure as it is, it was at "The Beaver House" in the winter of 1990 when someone was playing "The Doors" and D'Arcy came walking into the living room with a big smile on his face. He started dancing the most ridiculous dance I'd ever seen. Everyone in the room just lost it, it was so funny. He made everyone around him feel good and want to be in his company. That was a long time ago but it was the time that I knew D'Arcy, we remained good friends for a few years after that until I ended up moving to Vancouver and we slowly lost touch.
D'Arcy, you were always kind, sharing, and accommodating, you opened my eyes to a new world of music (beyond The Doors) and a different way of thinking about the world. I was a year older than you but you were years wiser. I regret not keeping in touch but I will always remember you and those years in Whistler.
Your friend, Murph
Thanks Murph. I miss you and love you. We had good times.
